Meaning of white rose

All happiness depends on a leisure breakfast, John Gunther

Mun ehdoton suosikki ruoka on aamupala.

Breakfast is my favourite meal. I always, always, always eat breakfast. And yesterday I was lucky to have breakfast date with a friend. And the date was at my favourite coffee shop in Palma, Cappuccino. Late, leisure breakfast at the beautiful garden. No better way to start the day. This place I absolutely recommend if you ever are in Palma.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream

Nyt oli pakko pysähtyä. Vesimeloni jäätelöä! Oli kokeiltava näin kuumana päivänä ja jatkoon menee. Suosittelen myös tätä kokeilemaan.
Kotimatkalla pysähdyin ostamaan Herra C:lle valkoisen ruusun. Erivärisillä ruusuillahan on omat merkityksensä. Ja valkoisen ruusun merkitys on avioliitto, hengellisyys ja uudet alut. Mutta enpä kosinut. Vielä.
Herra C oli myös pysähtynyt ostamaan mulle jotain. Leivän. Sanoin sille kyllä.

I had to stop for it. Watermelon ice cream on hot day! Refreshing! Recommending that too.
On the way home I stopped to buy a white rose to Mr. C. The meaning of white roses is for marriage, spirituality and new starts. But I didn't propose. Yet.
And Mr. C had stopped to buy me something too. A bread. I said yes to that.

Dinner is better when we eat together

Herra C keittiö vuorossa eilen. Tyypillinen mallorcalainen päivällinen, Pa amb oli. Näytti hyvältä ja maistui erityisen hyvälle. Tykkään ja suosittelen.

Mr. C made dinner last night and it was delicious and beautiful. This is typical Mallorquin dinner: Pa amb oli. Like. And recommend.

Mainitaan loppuun vielä, että Cappucinossa on joka päivä brunssi. Herra C vie mut sinne, ei vaan olla vielä päätetty päivämäärää.

Let me also mention that Cappuccino has brunch everyday. Mr. C is going to take me there, we just haven't set the date yet.

Liquorice and Barry White

It is official. We bought a house yesterday. Or a place that resembles a house. And it will be a pretty house one day. It just needs little fixing here and there and everywhere. Seriously, it needs to be fixed from floor to roof and then from up stare floor to roof again. But its ours!

Opening the door for the first time

So, soon its time to say Goodbye to Palma and Hello Santa Margalida. The little town northeast in Mallorca with about 3000 inhabitants. I feel really excited about this and as we are fixing as much as possible with ourselves it is going to be golden times for the relations ship also...

So yesterday after papers were sign we celebrated with cups of cappuccino and took a drive to the house. Baby J is of course dressed for the occasion. Bow tie and all.

Mr. C in acción

Maybe not a big city but Santa Margalida has already surprised me positively. In the store behind the corner they sell Finnish liquorice. Everything will be fine.

Made in Finland

In the evening driving back home, of the 76 radio stations, nothing acceptable to listen.
Mr. C asked: what do you want to listen.
Me: something easy and relaxing.
Mr. C: Barry White

Palma de Mallorca, but I missed a proposal

We are now living in

Palma, the capital city of Mallorca

Although this is about to change in the near future. I absolutely love Palma. For me the size of the city is perfect. It has nice restaurants and all the shops you need or you can just wander around the streets. In every corner you can find either a bar, a pharmacy or barber shop. Which leads to what, I don't know. But to think about it I guess you go a long way with these three...

Palma Cathedral

Anyway, what to see in Palma, for me the first thing that comes to mind is the Cathedral. So in the morning I went for a walk with Baby James to the central and to the Cathedral to take photos and show you little bit of the city. By the Cathedral there is an artisan market. I have always liked markets. Anywhere I am traveling, I always want to go to a local market.

Streets were still quiet and Baby James managed to fall asleep. I don't know what Mr. C does but when he is around naps can last hours. Both, his and babys. With me Baby J normally sleeps around half an hour.

While I was out Mr. C came home and called me. This is what he told me, he had come home to propose me. But as I weren't home, I missed it. I am never leaving the house again.
