Liquorice and Barry White

It is official. We bought a house yesterday. Or a place that resembles a house. And it will be a pretty house one day. It just needs little fixing here and there and everywhere. Seriously, it needs to be fixed from floor to roof and then from up stare floor to roof again. But its ours!

Opening the door for the first time

So, soon its time to say Goodbye to Palma and Hello Santa Margalida. The little town northeast in Mallorca with about 3000 inhabitants. I feel really excited about this and as we are fixing as much as possible with ourselves it is going to be golden times for the relations ship also...

So yesterday after papers were sign we celebrated with cups of cappuccino and took a drive to the house. Baby J is of course dressed for the occasion. Bow tie and all.

Mr. C in acción

Maybe not a big city but Santa Margalida has already surprised me positively. In the store behind the corner they sell Finnish liquorice. Everything will be fine.

Made in Finland

In the evening driving back home, of the 76 radio stations, nothing acceptable to listen.
Mr. C asked: what do you want to listen.
Me: something easy and relaxing.

What was my dream room again?

The best Swedish thing after Abba is Ikea. Last Saturday Mr. C announced that we need to go to buy moving boxes in Ikea. I don't say no to Ikea, even Mr. C would like me to wear eye patches. The same ones you can put on horses to narrow the visual area. Anyhow without any eye patches we only bought the boxes. And some Swedish food. And some few other things.

But the craziest thing happened to me while we were walking around the show area. I walked in a laundry room and I said to my own shock, this is my dream room. I repeat myself. I said: 'this is my dream room'. About a laundry room. No. No. No. If that was me, I am not playing anymore. Put your self together. What is happening? Who is this person dreaming about a laundry room??

Just while ago I was dreaming of a walking closet. This is the person I know. And Mr. C (the handyman) made me a walking closet. Now I'm afraid he is going to make me laundry room. And there I shall live my life happily ever after with all the laundry.

This man in the picture, he is ready to build. Beware what you say out loud and for Gods sake relax with the laundry. Please.
